Content sources help you add property descriptions, images and features to your catalog. For example, import a new hotel's address and photos, then complete the record with your own descriptions.
Information provided
| Information | Example |
|---|---|
| Property details | Name, source code, address and contact information |
| Descriptions | Turkish and English property descriptions |
| Images | Photos, captions and display order |
| Amenities and features | Pool, parking and accessibility information |
| Categories | Family-friendly, ski or all-inclusive |
| Property rules | Accepted payment methods and pet policies |
| Hotel chain | The property's chain affiliation |
You can use several sources. Information from each source is brought together in the relevant property record.
A content record does not provide prices or availability. Prepare current rates and available rooms through a channel manager or your direct contracts before selling.
Add a property from a source
- Search the catalog and review the source record.
- Add the property to your catalog and check its property and room details.
- Match source feature and category codes to your catalog entries.
- Complete the required translations, photos and descriptions.
- Prepare contract terms, rates and available rooms.
Your additions and corrections should reflect current property information. See Feature mapping for matching codes.
Multilingual content
Each language's description belongs to the same property record. Sales channels can use the language they request. Adding a language does not require another property record.
Multiple sources
The same hotel may appear in two content sources and a channel manager. Match those records to the same property. Source information shows where each value came from. Review conflicting details and decide which value to use.
