A destination search lists every available property in a place for given dates and guests, each priced for the whole stay. The searcher chooses the order and narrows the list with filters; a total and a count next to each filter option show how many properties match. The same search runs in your online shop (web, iOS, Android), on the partner API and on the Console's New booking screen. This page explains the orders, the filters, what a result shows, the shop's map and the curated boost.
The order covers the whole destination, not one page. With Price: low to high, a search for Antalya, 14 to 16 October, two adults starts with the cheapest available property in all of Antalya, even when Antalya has 78 available properties and the first page shows 20.
Where it runs
| Where | Who searches | Orders | Map |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online shop (web, iOS, Android) | Shoppers on your website and apps | All seven, Recommended by default | Yes, with Search this area. On the web shop, once your map key is connected. |
| Partner API | API partners | Price, stars, guest score | A map area can be sent as a filter |
| New booking (Console) | Your own team | Price, stars, guest score. Price: low to high by default. | No |
Adrasis AI Operator runs the same search when you ask for it in plain language, for example "the three cheapest hotels in Istanbul under 200 EUR with free cancellation, 14 to 16 October, two adults".
On the partner API, the whole-destination order and the total apply when the partner sends an order or a filter, and filter counts come when the partner asks for them. A search without an order or a filter returns results page by page, without a total.
An ordered or filtered search covers up to 1,000 properties available for the dates. For a larger destination, such as a whole country, it asks for a narrower place: a province, a city or a district. On the partner API, a search without an order or a filter still returns such a destination page by page, without a total.
Results from connected suppliers
In Console and the shop, connected suppliers can add hotels while the search continues. The list updates without starting the search again. Until the search finishes, an empty list may still receive results. A destination suggestion or a matched supplier hotel does not prove availability for the dates and guests entered.
The Partner API's catalog follows the properties opened to that account. It does not inherit the external supplier hotels shown in Console and the shop. See Accommodation supply.
Result orders
Price, stars and guest score work everywhere. Recommended and Best value are shop-only: they carry your own commercial judgement, and a partner ranks what it receives by its own.
Recommended
Online shop · default order
Your shop's own order, built in three steps:
- Curated boost first. Properties you gave a boost come ahead of the rest, the higher boost first. See Curated boost below.
- Then popularity. Recent sales combine with the guest score, weighted by the number of reviews behind it: a score from a dozen reviews is pulled toward the average, while a score from hundreds of reviews barely moves. Cancelled bookings do not count as sales. When no property in the search has sales yet, the weighted guest score alone sets the order.
- Then price, lowest first.
Without a boost, a property with neither sales nor a guest score comes after every property that has at least one of them.
Price: low to high · Price: high to low
Online shop · Partner API · Console
Orders by the total for the whole stay, as each result shows it. With a meal plan or free-cancellation filter on, the price is that of the cheapest matching offer.
In your shop the order uses the price the shopper sees. On the Console list, a product you sell for a provider sorts on its payable total, the amount you owe the provider, not on the customer price after your markup. See Selling as a sub-agency.
Stars: high to low · Stars: low to high
Online shop · Partner API · Console
Unrated properties come last in both directions. They are never hidden.
Guest score
Online shop · Partner API · Console
Highest guest score first. Properties without a guest score follow, cheapest first.
Best value
Online shop
Weighs the guest score against the price: the score divided by the price of the offer shown. A 9.0 at 200 EUR ranks above a 9.4 at 300 EUR. Properties without a guest score follow, cheapest first.
Filters
Filters narrow the list; the total and the order follow them. Each option shows a count. A count applies your choices in the other filter groups but not in its own, so you can see what adding or switching an option would return. The total at the top counts every matching property across the whole destination, on every page.
| Filter | What it keeps | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Stars | The chosen star ratings. Unrated is an option of its own, so choosing 4 stars leaves unrated properties out. | Everywhere |
| Price | A range for the whole stay, in the search currency: 200 to 400 EUR for two nights. | Everywhere |
| Property type | Hotel, Apart hotel, Villa and the other property types. | Everywhere |
| Meal plan | Properties with an offer on the chosen meal plan: All inclusive. | Everywhere |
| Free cancellation | Properties with a refundable offer. | Everywhere |
| Guest score | A minimum on the 10-point scale: 8 and above. | Everywhere |
| District | Places inside the destination: Kemer and Kaş inside Antalya. | Everywhere |
| Theme | Beach, Ski, Hot springs, Family. | Online shop, partner API |
| Amenity group | Pool & Beach, Family & Kids, Parking & Transport. | Online shop, partner API |
| Map area | Properties inside the area on screen, through Search this area. | Online shop map, partner API |
| Supply source | Your own properties, or the products of the providers you choose. | Console |
Meal plan and free cancellation look past the cheapest offer. Every rate plan the property sells for the stay is checked, each at its best price for the whole party. A property qualifies when one of these offers matches, and a single room that cannot host the whole party does not qualify it. The result then shows the cheapest matching offer, and the price range and the price orders use its price. Hotel Sunrise's cheapest offer is room only and non-refundable at 180 EUR. With Free cancellation on, it shows its cheapest refundable offer, 214 EUR, and sorts on 214 EUR.
What a result shows
Each result carries the facts the filters work on, so the searcher can see why a property is on the list:
- Guest score out of 10, with its number of reviews: 9.6 / 10, 18 reviews. A property without a guest score shows none.
- District and city: Konyaaltı, Antalya.
- Property type: Apart hotel.
- Stars, when the property is rated.
- The offer shown: its meal plan, a free-cancellation badge when it is refundable, and the total for the stay. It is the cheapest offer, or the cheapest one that matches the meal plan or cancellation filter.
Where the guest score comes from. The guest score arrives with the property's catalog content and shows on a 10-point scale everywhere. A score given out of 5 is converted: 4.8 out of 5 shows as 9.6 out of 10.
The results map
The shop's results page can show the results on a map. A shopper opens the map, moves or zooms it, and chooses Search this area to list only the properties inside the visible area. The map loads only when the shopper opens it; a results page where nobody opens the map loads no map.
| Where | Map |
|---|---|
| Web shop | Shown once your organization connects its own map key in the Console. Without a key, the web shop shows no map and no Search this area. Map loads are billed to the account that owns the key. |
| iOS and Android apps | Always shown. The apps display the map on their own and do not use your key. |
| New booking (Console) | No map. |
Connect your map key
-
Create a browser key at the map provider
Create the key in your own account at the map provider. Map loads from your web shop are billed to that account, at the provider's prices. If you are not sure which map provider your shop uses, ask your contact at Adrasis.
-
Restrict it to your shop's addresses
Open Storefront → Pages & Articles and select your web shop. The map key field sits next to Marketing platforms and lists your shop's addresses, for example
www.hotelsunrise.com. At the map provider, allow the key on those addresses only. The key is visible in every visitor's browser by design, so this restriction is what stops other sites from using it. -
Paste the key and save
Paste the key into the map key field and save. To remove the map later, clear the field.
-
Check the shop
Search a destination on your web shop and open the map. The results appear on it, and Search this area is available.
Map loads are billed to your map account. Loads from your web shop are billed to the account that owns the key, not through Adrasis. Review the map provider's pricing before you connect the key, and set a budget or a quota there if you want a ceiling.
Curated boost
A curated boost moves one of your own properties up in your shop's Recommended order. Set it on the property page (open Properties, then the property): a higher number places the property ahead of every property with a lower one, and a negative number moves it down. A property without a boost takes its place by popularity and price.
Give Hotel Sunrise a boost of 10, and it leads the Recommended order of every Antalya search on your shop in which it is available, ahead of properties with a boost of 5 or none.
The boost applies only to your own shop and only to your own properties. Sub-agencies and API partners never receive it.
What destination search does not do
- No distance search. No search asks for properties within a distance of a point, such as within 2 km of Konyaaltı Beach. Search a destination or a district instead, or use Search this area on the shop's map.
- No personal order. The same search returns the same order to every shopper; nothing is ranked by a visitor's history.
- No payment filter on the destination list. The external hotel offer screen in Console has its own payment filter. On the destination list, pay at property, pay later and instalments are not filters.
