Adrasis receives property content, prices, available room counts and booking messages from connected suppliers. For example, a hotel's channel-manager price update appears against the matched room and rate plan.
Supply sources
| Source | Information provided |
|---|---|
| Channel managers | Current hotel prices, available rooms and restrictions |
| Accommodation wholesalers | Properties, prices and available rooms you can resell |
| Content and catalog sources | Descriptions, images, amenities, categories and locations |
Information is linked to the relevant catalog record. Source details show where a value came from and when it was updated.
How updates are processed
- The supplier sends information supported by the connection.
- Adrasis checks the connection and message.
- Source property, room and rate-plan codes are matched to catalog records.
- Accepted changes are saved with their source and time.
- Failed actions are retried. Continuing failures are shown for review or resubmission.
Prices, room counts and restrictions appear in the relevant calendar. Incoming bookings are tracked in property bookings or supplier-booking screens, depending on the connection.
Prepare the connection
- Enable the connector for your organization.
- Save the supplier's credentials.
- Connect the relevant properties.
- Review room, rate-plan, meal-plan and feature mappings.
- Monitor connection status and rejected messages.
Check the price source. Channel-manager prices may be read-only in the Console. Correct them in the system that supplies them. See Channel managers.
Review source information
Cell history shows the source and last update time of a price or room count. For an incorrect mapping, compare the source code with the catalog record. Corrections to manually editable fields are also retained in history.
