Channels exchange property information, prices, available rooms and booking messages with connected systems. For example, you can receive prices from a channel manager or send your properties' prices to a sales channel.
Open Connectivity to find these connections. Incoming channel managers are under Supply sources; channels you sell through are under Sales channels. Use Credentials for access details.
What a connection needs
To use a channel, enable its connector, save its credentials, connect the property and map the required codes.
| Part | Responsible | When to update |
|---|---|---|
| Connector | Platform team | A new system integration is added |
| Credentials | Organization administrator | The connected system changes its key or password |
| Property connection | Operator | A property joins or leaves the channel |
| Mapping | Operator | Room, rate-plan or meal-plan codes change |
Sales access is a separate decision. Use the market and property access guide to choose the properties a sub-agency can sell and the countries where a rate applies.
Connect a channel
- Check that the connector is enabled for your organization. Contact the platform team if it is unavailable.
- Save the connected system's credentials. They are checked before saving when that system supports validation.
- Open the connection in the property's Connectivity tab. Enter the property's code in the other system.
- Match room, rate-plan, feature and meal-plan codes to your catalog records.
- Activate the connection. Check sent updates or received messages in the connection status.
Manage credentials
Credentials are encrypted and used by the organization's relevant connections. A connected system may issue the same credentials for several properties. Update the Console record when they change. Check the connection screen for expired credentials or failed validation.
Match source codes
A room code in another system may differ from your catalog record. For example, mapping 432 to Sea-view room connects information carrying that code to the correct room.
Review suggested matches during setup. Adrasis AI Operator can prepare mapping suggestions. Check for missing matches when rooms or plans are added. See Mapping and review.
Check connection status
Review recent message results, credential checks and missing mappings on the channel screen. If a price update was rejected, for example, check the corresponding room code.
Failed sends are retried. Continuing failures are shown to the operations team for review or resubmission.
